Botswana

Botswana is a country rich in flora and fauna, with the beautiful town of Maun being its capital of tourism. It's one of the country's most influenced and affected by the Okavango Delta. This is one of the largest inland water systems in the world, originating in springs found in Angola along with several tributaries from the Cubango River. The Okavango is the only water system in the world that does not flow into the sea, but rather ends its journey in the desert.

Within the Okavango, immense stagnant swamps have formed over the centuries, giving rise to a diverse kingdom of animals, plant species and various fauna and flora that thrive in this unique ecosystem. In the northern area of Botswana's Chobe National Park which now houses the largest concentration of elephants in all of Africa, travelers are offered some of most amazing safaris on the continent as the variety and number of animals inhabiting it are so immense. Being such a vast park, it is divided into four areas, each characterized by its own unique ecosystem. Since the national parks in Botswana do not have closed perimeters, one can often see wild animals crossing streets and gardens, always giving another fantastic opportunity to grab that unexpected picture and memory.

Botswana is simply wonderfully diverse, offering so much to see, it is perhaps one of the most remarkable places to enjoy watching game.
