Scheduled Tour:

Day 1 - CAPE TOWN

On arrival in Cape Town, you are met by a guide. Table Mountain (weather permitting - Excluded Tickets) for an immediate panoramic view of the beautiful city.

Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 2 - CAPE TOWN

Boat ride about 45 minutes, boat ride to Seal Island, boat ride about 45 minutes. Simonstown penguin colony, populated by the arrival of a small nucleus of penguins on the beach a few years ago. It has blossomed into a strong and well-protected colony. Lunch is served in a fish restaurant. After lunch, you will visit the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve, where the well preserved local flora gives a stunning show of colours, especially in spring months (October / November). Here you will likely see some Capuchin baboons and antelopes. You will have the opportunity to ascend to Cape Point, where you will enjoy an unbelievable view of False Bay and, with just a little imagination, see the point where two oceans meet. Finally, you return to Cape Town in the late afternoon.

Day 3 - CAPE TOWN

Breakfast at the hotel.

A full-day guided excursion to the Cape Winelands, including the historic towns of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, to see where the European cultures penetrated the history of Cape Dutch architecture and vineyard cultivation. You may visit a diamond workshop for an informative film and talk on the evolution and workmanship of diamonds.

Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 4 - CAPE TOWN / DURBAN / SHAKALAND

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to the airport to fly out to Durban. On arrival in Durban, you are met by a guide and then transferred to Shakaland. The village of Shakaland is a culturally accurate reconstruction of a typical Zulu village, where the life of the Zulu culture reflects it's past and present. Lunch. Visit the village with a typical dinner and enjoy viewing some tribal dances.

Overnight.

Day 5 - SHAKALAND / HLUHLUWE

After breakfast you will leave for Hluhluwe National Park along the stopping trail of St. Lucia in the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park.This beautiful park boasts lagoons, islets, etuaries and tropical forests close to the sea. It is the third largest South African Parks and is listed as a World Heritage Site. You will enjoy a boat excursion in Lake St. Lucia for an opportunity to view hippos, crocodiles (over 1000!), Flamingos and spectacular vegetation. Lunch is served on the boat. In the afternoon you experience 4x4 drive with a specialized ranger in Hluhluwe National Park. This is considered one of the best natural parks in South Africa, and is famous for the highest concentration of white rhinos which were rescued from the brink of extinction and now flourish in the private provinces. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 6 - HLUHLUWE / MPUMALANGA

After breakfast you will leave for Mpumalanga, crossing Swaziland, the smallest Kingdom in the Southern hemisphere. This is a land of harmonious beauty, rich in parks and nature reserves, aptly identified as the place where ancient and modern Africa coexist. Lunch en-route in Mantenga Lodge in a reserved area.

Dinner and overnight in the White River / Hazyview area.

Day 7 - HAZYVIEW / PRIVATE RESERVE (Kruger Park area)

After breakfast at the hotel, you set off for a tour of the beautiful surrounding mountainous region. Along the legendary Panorama Route, you will visit the Blyde River Canyon, stopping at the Three Rondavels, at a viewing point of this canyon, which is rated third in the world. You will pass the strange Bourke's Luck Potholes, and then enjoy lunch in a private reserve. The afternoon will see you on a 4x4 game drive adventure with specialized English speaking rangers.

Dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - PRIVATE RESERVE (Kruger Park area)

Full board. Morning and afternoon to find and photograph the big 5 !!!

Day 9 - PRIVATE RESERVE / JOHANNESBURG / flu out

After breakfast, you will leave for Johannesburg Airport for your return flight home. Lunch is served at a roadside restaurant en-route. Arrival at the airport and departure.
