Day 1 Monday Cape Town / Citrusdal / Clanwilliam / Langebaan

Early morning travelling from the Western Cape, an almost undiscovered treasure trove of unspoilt beaches, incredible mountain ranges, geographical diversity, and the most amazing carpet of wildflowers in the spring. Drive past villages such as Citrus from its synonymous with fruits and products, and Clanwilliam, one of the oldest towns in South Africa Here you would visit the Rooibos Factory, the only active production plant. After this fascinating visit, an opportunity would be to enjoy lunch (to own account) before heading to Elandsberg Eco Tourism farm. Here you would embark on a Rooibos safari through the rooibos plantations and the processing plant. Continue to the coastal hamlet of Langebaan via the coastal route. Overnight The Farmhouse Hotel (standard room) or similar.

Day 2 Tuesday West Coast (Breakfast)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading to Paternoster. Paternoster, meaning "Our Father" derives its name from the prayers of ship-wrecked Portuguese sailors. Visit the Cape Columbine Lighthouse which was the last manned lighthouse constructed, and it rests on a windswept coastline within the Columbine Nature Reserve. The spiral staircase within the lighthouse takes one high enough for incredible views out over the Britannia reef and the Atlantic. Cape Columbine stands on a massive outcrop of rock known as Castle Rock from where you could view dolphins and whales (during the season). Browse around the town of Paternoster, drinking the nostalgic atmosphere of this old fishing village before heading to the West Coast Fossil Park for a guided tour. Return to Langebaan for a relaxed afternoon at leisure. Section of the West Coast National Park, more horse-riding or to follow the walking/nature trails (any additional charges to own account). Alternatively, one could simply enjoy the beaches along the Langebaan Lagoon. Overnight The Farmhouse Hotel (standard room) or a similar one could simply enjoy the beaches along the Langebaan Lagoon. Day 3 Wednesday Langebaan / Darling / Franschhoek (Breakfast)

After breakfast, we make our way to the Khwa the San Culture & Education Center which offers a unique experience of the first indigenous people of southern Africa. The Saints themselves will take you on a journey into their history, traditional knowledge, skills, languages, customs and current affairs. This enjoyable and eye-opening event will stay with you for a long time. Continue to Groote the bay on a clear day. Travel to the wine region of Franschhoek where you would spend the following two nights.

Day 4 Thursday Franschhoek (Breakfast and Dinner)

Franschhoek Valley as a journey through rolling vineyards in an open-side tram and open-air tram-bus stopping at some of South Africa's oldest and most distinguished wine estates. Commence the experience with a visit to the Huguenot Memorial, then to Haute Cabriere, Chamonix, Rickety Bridge and ending the experience at Grande Provence. Lunch (to own account) could be taken at any of these estates. This evening includes dinner at the hotel before retiring for the night. Overnight Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa (standard room) or similar.

Day 5 Friday Cape Winelands / Cape Town (Breakfast)

Breakfast and check-out of the hotel. Depart Franschhoek and travel over the Helshoogte Pass to Stellenbosch. En route, stop at Boschendal Wine Estate for a tasting before spending some time in the 'dorp' (town) of Stellenbosch with its characteristic. Continue to Clos Malverne for the day before heading to Paarl. Stop at the Taal Monument and Laborie Wine Estate before heading back to Cape Town. Approximately 15h00 with either drop-off at either Cape Town International Airport or your Cape Town-based hotel.
